PEPPERELL — The Planning Board closed the public hearing for a site plan special permit for a 28,900-square-foot, 11-unit warehouse structure at 43 Nashua Road in Lomar Park, filed by applicant Daniel Locapo.
The plan, which has been reduced in scope, was back before the board to reassure abutter Harold Kecy that the Fire Department had reviewed the revised plans, which now call for a 21,600-square-foot, nine-unit facility.
Planning administrator Inez Gove explained that the Board of Fire Engineers had reviewed the plan but had no comments, which amounts to a tacit approval of the plan.
Locapo’s new plan addresses a requirement from the board that commercial truck traffic must be segregated from customer and employee parking, and that residential/recreation zoning restrictions be observed.
Parking lots on either side of the building will connect with a gated fire-access roadway at the rear of the lot.
With the public hearing closed and no further input accepted, the board now has 90 days to act on the special permit request.
