GROTON — RE/MAX Colonial has announced the affiliation of David Tellier, SRES, ABR, to their real estate office.

Tellier has been in the real estate sales industry for 10 years. To earn the SRES designation from the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council, the Realtor has to demonstrate that they have the requisite knowledge, experience and expertise to help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property or managing the capital gains and tax implications of owning real estate. His second designation of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) to sales associates who are qualified to provide buyer representation and are familiar with buyer brokerage and buyer agency issues.

When asked about real estate Tellier responded, “real estate is a passion for me. I love helping people find a home that fits their lifestyle and budget and I love to help people prepare their homes for market so they can maximize their return. Whether buying or selling, you will want me by your side with my full representation.”

Prior to selling real estate, Tellier spent 17 years in sales and marketing at DEC and Compaq. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University school of engineering, an MBA from Pace University, N.Y., and he is a U.S. Army veteran. Tellier lives in Groton with his wife and children.
