SHIRLEY — ShirleyArts! will hold its annual meeting Feb. 10, at 7 p.m., at the Bull Run Restaurant.

Last year this group sponsored a Family Dance Night to benefit Shirley Education Foundation, a youth theater production of “Zink the Zebra,” a children’s production of “Folktales are Fun,” a Shirley Middle School Drama Club production of “Just Like Us,” a children’s concert called “Rainbow Revue,” a summer production of “Annie Jr.,” three performances by drummer Joe Salins, a Fall Family Concert to benefit the Shirley Meetinghouse, an adult production of “You Can’t Take It With You,” a Children’s Christmas Concert to benefit the Shirley Friendship Fund and a Community Christmas Concert to benefit Loaves & Fishes. It also cooperated with the Shirley Meetinghouse to sponsor a concert by Rockapella.

Some of these performances were supported by grants from the Cultural Council.

The group also sold hamburgers and soft drinks at the Shirley Charitable Foundation’s free summer concert series.

Upcoming ShirleyArts! productions include the Youth Theater presentation of the mystery comedy “Dead Man’s Chest.” It will take place Feb. 17, at 7:30 p.m., and Feb. 18, at 2:30 p.m., at Shirley Middle School.

Tickets sold in advance cost $5. Tickets at the door cost $8. Order forms are available at Hazen Memorial Library or by e-mailing tickets@shirleyarts.org.

On March 23, ShirleyArts! will sponsor a Bluegrass Gospel concert by award-winning Southern Rail. The concert will be at the Shirley Middle School. Tickets will cost $10. For groups of eight or more who pay in advance, the ticket price is $7.50 per person.

Those who attend the meeting will be able to suggest activities for the coming year and elect the governing officers. Membership forms for those wishing to join ShirleyArts! will be available at the meeting.
