TOWNSEND — The Townsend Public Library will host the following events in February:

* Lowell Devils meet-and-greet

The library will host a “Lowell Devils Meet and Greet” on Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., in Memorial Hall room 2.

Two players from the Lowell Devils will read some stories, sign autographs and talk about what it’s like to be professional hockey players. This program is for kids of all ages. Sign up in the Children’s Room.

* Rainbow Fish Stories and Craft

Children’s librarian Stacy Schuttler will present a special story time and craft on Feb. 16, at 2:30 p.m., in Memorial Hall room 2, based on “Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister. The program is for children aged four to six. Sign up in the Children’s Room as it’s important to know how many children are attending so there are enough craft supplies for everyone.

* Super Cold Science

The Museum of Science, Boston, and the library present “Super Cold Science,” to be held Feb. 23, at 1 p.m., in the Great Hall of Memorial Hall. New Englanders are no strangers to the cold, but when the temperature drops by hundreds of degrees, witness the surprising way molecules behave!

This program is for anyone aged seven and up. Sign up in the Children’s Room.
