HARVARD — Registered Democrats will hold a caucus on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 12:30 p.m., at the Hapgood Room of the library to elect delegates to the 2007 Massachusetts Democratic Convention.

The convention will be held May 19 at Mullins Center at University of Massachusetts Amherst. At that time, Democrats from across the state will gather to set an action agenda to develop statewide grassroots organizing and party-building initiatives to prepare for the presidential election in 2008. This year’s action agenda will incorporate strategies that led to our overwhelming victory in the gubernatorial election and provide recommendations for attracting more people to the Democratic party.

Anyone who is 18 years old and a registered Democrat in town as of Dec. 30, 2006, is welcome to attend the caucus and run for a position. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women.
