AYER — The Greenway Committee’s request for Community Preservation Act funds for small-trail head, habitat and directional signs and two larger informational kiosks is moving forward with now problems, said committee member Patrick Hughes.
“We have a proposal we are taking through the town bureaucracy for the next town meeting,” he said.
The Conservation Commission has already approved and sponsored the proposal. The next step is to meet with the Community Preservation Committee. If that meeting is successful it will be up for debate and a vote at the next town meeting.
The committee met with the commission first, as it wouldn’t be able to place any of the signs without the commission’s approval. — Richard Breyer
