Harvard soccer registrations

The Harvard Soccer Club is still accepting registrations on-line at www.HarvardSoccer.org for their fall 2006 soccer program for children age four through the second grade. Children must be four years old by Aug. 31, 2006 to be eligible to play. Children will be placed on teams that play games in an in-town soccer program on Saturday mornings. First and second graders also practice once per week. There is also a travel soccer program available for third graders through high school age. Bowlers needed

The Merchants Bowling League is looking for new members to join a fun, no pressure league which bowls every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Harvard Lanes in Harvard. The league runs from Sept. 6 through mid-March, and consists of various businesses and individuals looking to have a fun night out. You may bring in a team of five men or if you are an individual looking to bowl we will place you on a team in need of a bowler. This is a cash prize league with an end of the season awards banquet. Women’s hockey registration

The Fitchburg Women’s Hockey League is accepting registrations for the 2006-2007 season. Registration deadline is Aug. 15.

The Fitchburg Women’s Hockey League is a recreational hockey league for women of all hockey and skating abilities. The league has four teams that play round-robin style, and will have a new beginners and D level skating division. This is a perfect division for anyone who would like to play the game of hockey but has never had the opportunity. There is no pressure, just a lot of fun. Games are played at the Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg on Saturday starting at 6:50 p.m.

There will be 25 games that start in September and finish in April or May. The league will host a fantastic St. Valentine’s “Have A Heart Tournament” to benefit Sylvia’s Haven in February, as well as traveling to other tournaments.

The price is $425 with a @20 registration fee. The beginner and D division will be $395 for the season. League dues are paid in four installments, and the first payment of $100, plus registration fee are due upon registering.
