TOWNSEND — Dance company members from Michelle Goodwin’s School of Dance will be performing at Walt Disney World in Florida on Sunday, June 26.
The students will be performing in the Magic Kingdom at the Galaxy Palace Theater. The performance will include an assortment of dances set to some of yesterday and today’s greatest hits, along with a finale featuring the entire company.
Michelle Goodwin, director of the school, along with dance company program co-directors Dawn Boynton and Dawn Dunbar, have been working with the students to ensure a fabulous performance at Walt Disney World. The following students will be performing: Brandee Aiello, Jessica Schmuck, Jazmine Syriopoulos, Kristy Glasheen, Marissa Martin, Sandy McCarthy, Kirsten Ruf, Jennifer Schmuck, Megan Trombi, Spencer Hart, Amy Wolfgang, Kate Amante, Maureen Beal, Amanda Boudreau, Lindsay Grant, Julie Oetinger, Jennifer Burson, Nicole Bushey, Michelle Chapdelaine, Jenna Jacobs, Traci McPadden, Caitlin Ruth, Emily Vaughan, Tara Dillberg, Dawn Dunbar, Jennifer Hewitt-Jardim, Tiffany Panagiotes, Kristina Stewart, Karen Stewart and Niki Vaz.
The dance company held a successful fund-raiser on Saturday, April 28, canvassing to collect money for costumes for the performance. The dance company students would like to thank the following businesses and organizations for helping with donation collections: Cliff’s Caf , North Middlesex Pop Warner, The Ice Cream Factory, McDonald’s in Townsend, Apple Meadow Hardware, The Old Brick Store, Route 31 Store in Ashby, Lorden Hardware, Donelan’s in Pepperell and Tobacco Haven in Brookline, N.H.
