The best candidates for School Committee always have long histories of community service. Someone who has proven their commitment, enthusiasm, and energy for community work will certainly perform better on the School Committee than someone with no such history.
Paul Funch has been deeply involved in our community for at least as long as the 12 years I’ve known him. Paul Funch has served us in a wide variety of roles and committees, both inside and outside the schools. He’s done it with energy and tenacity, and with his delightful sense of humor. Paul Funch is preeminently qualified to serve on the School Committee. He will bring his professional skills to the School Committee with the same energy he has demonstrated in many other avenues, and we can be confident that we and our children will be well-served. Our School Committee will be stronger and more balanced with Paul Funch on board.
Paul Funch and his opponent have the same first names, but that is where the similarity ends. Election day is May 16. Groton voters, please make time to go to the polls, and join me in voting for Paul Funch for School Committee.
