HARVARD — The Bromfield girls track team rolled past Whitinsville Christian on Monday to improve to 5-0 for the season. The Lady Trojans registered 13 first-place finishes out of the 15 events to set the tone.

Whitinsville Christian was only able to notch first-place finishes in the 100 meter high hurdles and the 300 meter intermediate hurdles, in addition to picking up four seconds and six thirds.

Bromfield earned sweeps in a pair of events to key the win. In the 800 meters, Bo Dunn ran a 2:23 to cross the finish line a second ahead of teammate Lisa Reedich, while Liz Lee was third.

In the javelin, Nikki Jordan prevailed with a toss of 67-9, ahead of teammates Margaret Kibbler and Alisia Bonnell.

Katherine Finnegan led the way by winning the 200 meters with a clocking of 28.2, the 400 meters in 63.7, and the long jump with a leap of 15-4 1/2, as well as adding a second in the long jump.

Henley Siegrist enjoyed an outstanding day, capturing the 100 meters in 13.8 and the triple jump with a leap of 30-8, and added a second in the long jump.

Both Hillary Lewis and Lydia Maurer were key contributors to the victory with a gold and silver apiece. Lewis prevailed in the shot put with a toss of 27-10 1/4 and finished second in the 100 meter high hurdles. Maurer won the discus with a toss of 117-7 and finished second in the 100 meters.

Kathryn Kennedy put together a productive day, winning the high jump with a leap of 4-4, and tacking on a third in the 100 meter high hurdles.

Also capturing an individual first-place finish for the Lady Trojans was Emily Jones, who rolled to victory in the mile in 5:14.3.

Both Bromfield relay teams crossed the finish line on top. The 4 X 100 squad posted a winning time of 54.6, while the 4 X 400 team prevailed in a time of 4:28.6.
