Dear Editor,

Sunshine, breezes and clear sky marked the 22nd annual Good Friday Walk held in Harvard.

Children, adults of various ages, little ones in strollers, and many varieties of family dogs on leashes all walked the hills of Harvard doing their chosen distances. A total of 277 walkers raised $24,290 with the money raised going mostly to Loaves & Fishes, now operating from their new location at Devens, and one-third to Sharing, Inc., a hands-on help agency focused on children living with poverty and racism in the rural south. The Harvard walk is an offspring of the Sharing, Inc., walk in Hingham, now in its 35th year.

We want to thank all our many workers, walkers, sponsor-sheet donors and those donating food to our kitchen for the lunch served to all walkers. With all this support we are able to continue this special worthwhile event. We hope to see everyone again next year.

Well done to all!
