PEPPERELL — The 10th annual clean-up of roadside litter and trash on public lands begins on Sunday, April 16, and continues through Sunday, April 23.

A map of Pepperell and a sign-up list is posted in the Lawrence Library. Stop by to sign up and pick up some orange garbage bags. Public lands to pick up include roadsides, sidewalks, parking lots, school yards, playing fields, the Rail Trail, conservation lands, stream sides and ponds, trails and other areas.

Anyone can participate — individuals, families, scout groups, organizations, etc. — and everyone’s efforts make a difference.

Filled bags can be left curbside. The Pepperell Highway Department will pick up the bags along the roadside on Monday, April 24. Thank you for taking pride in Pepperell!
