PEPPERELL — Registered voters are urged to participate in the annual town election on April 24 to elect municipal office holders for the next three to five years. Polls at Varnum Brook Elementary School will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There are no contested races, and all but one candidate are incumbents.

The list of offices open for election and the names of those serving whose term is expiring are:

Assessor: three years, one seat, Jon E. Kaiser.

Board of Health: three years, one seat, Robert J. Lambert.

Housing Authority: five years, one seat, Mary A. Duprey.

Library trustees: three years, two seats, Mary E. Campano and Molly Kimball.

North Middlesex Regional School District Committee: three years, two seats, Sue C. Fitzgerald and Sharon A. Santy. Santy is retiring while Kathleen Low, of Brick Pond Way, is seeking a first term.

Planning Board: five years, one seat, Stephen C. Themelis.

Board of Public Works: three years, one seat, Frederick E. Farmer.

Recreation Commissioner: three years, one seat, P. Derek TenBroeck.

Board of Selectmen: three years, one seat, Lyndon B. Johnson expired term.

Treasurer/tax collector: Three years, one seat, Michael J. Hartnett.

Tree Warden: three years, one seat, Peter J. Shattuck Sr.
