PEPPERELL — Town Engineer Robert E. Lee has designed an improved parking plan for the Senior Center that will add room for 20 more vehicles than the current capacity of 57.

It includes painted traffic islands and replacement of sloped landscaping edges.

The plan came through the selectmen’s office late last month. According to town administrator Robert Hanson, there is no time frame set for the improvements. He said what little money remains in the center’s building fund will help pay for the project and the Highway Department will do the paving. — Don Eriksson
