HARVARD — Celebration 2006, The Bromfield School’s 10th Annual All Night Substance Free After-Prom party will be held on May 12 and 13.
The celebration is organized and funded by a coalition of Harvard parents, churches, community organizations and businesses who have band together to provide Harvard’s teens with a safe way to celebrate one of the most memorable nights of their lives. A group of volunteers has been meeting regularly since October to organize the extreme makeover of The Bromfield School for a single evening.
We are expecting 90 percent of the school’s juniors, seniors and their prom dates to attend. Last year over 200 teens attended, and most stayed all night. All Bromfield juniors and seniors are invited whether they attend the prom or not. The event is free to all attendees.
If you would like to volunteer, come to a planning meeting, call Deb Wenger at (978) 456-3722 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to make a financial contribution, send a tax-deductible donation to Celebration 2006 c/o the Harvard School Trust, P.O. Box 450, Harvard, MA 01451. With your support, we will be able to continue to strengthen this tradition, which benefits the entire community.
The next Celebration 2006 planning meeting will be held at The Bromfield School on Tuesday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m., in room 195. If you can’t make that meeting, other meetings are scheduled for May 2 and 9, both at 7:30 p.m., in room 195.
