Baby-sitting class offered at Nashoba Valley Medical

AYER — Nashoba Valley Medical Center will offer a baby-sitter training class on Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Founders Room. This class is for boys and girls in sixth grade or higher. Taught by a registered nurse, the course teaches safety issues, care and handling of infants and baby-sitting ethics.

There will be time to practice diaper-changing and first-aid skills as well as time for questions. Participants are asked to bring an infant-sized doll or stuffed animal and a pen or pencil.

The cost is $25 which includes lunch. Space is limited to 20 attendees, so reserve space early by calling (978) 784-9289.
