AYER — The Save the Ayer Train Citizens Action Group will meet for a second time at the Ayer Town Library on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Come learn what you can do to save our train. The focus of the meeting will be fund-raising, political action and public awareness.

Call, write or e-mail your representatives and the editor of our local newspapers as well to voice your support.

The Ayer Board of Selectmen (BOS): call (978) 772-8220 or e-mail bos@ayer.ma.us.

The Public Spirit: call (978) 772-0777 or e-mail editor@nashobapub.com.

Congressman Martin Meehan: call (978) 459-0101 or e-mail martin.meehan@mail.house.gov.

State Sen. Pamela Resor: call (617) 722-1120 or e-mail pamela.resor@state.ma.us.

State Rep. Robert Hargraves: call (617) 722-2305 or e-mail rep.roberthargraves@hou.state.ma.us.

State Rep. James Eldridge: call (617) 722-2060 or e-mail rep.jameseldridge@hou.state.ma.us.

Ask them to do everything they can to keep the station in Ayer. It would be a tragic loss to the town’s character and quality of life if the station was removed.

For information call Carol Bousquet at (978) 772-6628.
