PEPPERELL — A portal through time is being opened thanks to a Girl Scout Gold Award Project presented by Tannis Boyajian from Troop 840.

The Lawrence Library-sponsored event will be held on Feb. 22, as 2 one-hour programs at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for kindergartners through second-graders.

Jump into a world of fantasy where dragons roam free and knights uphold the ideals of honor and justice. Enjoy interactive medieval activities, hear stories of daring knights and fire-breathing dragons, make the shield every young knight dreams of and create a baby dragon. Also, watch lady knights as they demonstrate their skills with a wooden sword, then have a chance to try it yourself under their direction.

At the program’s end, all those who have proven themselves worthy shall be knighted.

For information call the library at (978) 433-0330.
