Townsend LL registrations

Townsend Little League will hold a registration for the 2006 season on Jan. 28 at North Middlesex High School from 9 a.m. to noon. If you would like a registration form mailed to you, please send a request to mscobleigh@earthlink.net. All registrations must be postmarked by Feb. 4.

GD football/cheerleading information night

Groton Dunstable football and cheerleading parent information night will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Groton Dunstable Regional High School Black Box Theater.

Topics to be discussed include Groton Dunstable football and cheerleading review, by David Howes, and Groton Dunstable Regional High School football review, by GD Athletic Director Dan Twomey.

GD Youth Lacrosse registrations

Groton Dunstable Youth Lacrosse is still looking for girls to sign up for the U-11 (grades 3 &4), U-13 (grades 5 & 6), and U-15 (grades 7 & 8). Basic pistol safety course

A basic pistol safety course will be held at the Ayer Sportsmen’s Club on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The course will be taught by certified instructors and includes safe firearm handling, basic marksmanship, cleaning and safe storage of firearms and ammunition.
