TOWNSEND — The following programs will take place at the Townsend Public Library on Main Street in Townsend this month:

A children’s story time program with Kathy Couture will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 17 and will run until Feb. 21. The program will be held in Room 1 of the Memorial Hall at 10:30 a.m. Those interested can sign up in the Children’s Room of the library.

A writers’ group will meet in Room 1 of the Memorial Hall of the library on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. The group is for those who may be writing a novel, children’s book or something else and would like some support. It is a chance to network with other writers. Attendees are encouraged to bring their current work to have other writers share their experiences and give feedback. This group is open to adults.
