Booster club looking for new members

GROTON — Groton-Dunstable Athletic Booster Club is looking for new members. The club is the primary fund-raising organization of Crusader sports, whose mission is to enhance the interest in, support of, and participation in all sports-related activities within the athletic programs of the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District. Parents of all student athletes from Middle School through High School are encouraged to get involved. The Booster Club meets the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Peter Twomey Youth Center. Winter concert

GROTON — The Groton Dunstable Regional High School Concert Band and Chorus will perform their winter concert on Tuesday, Jan. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at the middle school on Main Street, Groton. The snow date is Thursday, Jan. 19. The performing groups include approximately 100 students in Concert Band, Chorus and Select Chorus, conducted by Tim Savoy, the high school’s new music director. The program will encompass a wide range of musical styles, from classical to jazz and pop. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door to help the students fund a trip this May to participate in the New York Music Festival.

Preschool information night

TOWNSEND — Spaulding Memorial School will hold a preschool information night on Jan. 11, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the school located on Main Street in Townsend. The snow date for the event is Jan. 12.

Kindergarten information night

TOWNSEND — Spaulding Memorial School, Main Street, Townsend, will host a kindergarten information night on Jan. 25, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the school. The snow date for the event is Jan. 26, from 7 to 8 p.m.
