Blood drive

LITTLETON — An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held in Littleton on Thursday, Jan. 12. The drive will take place at Saint Anne’s Church Hall, 75 King St. from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. The drive is open to anyone that is 17 or older, who is in good health, who weighs 110 pounds or more and who has not given blood in the last 56 days. The American Red Cross requires a positive ID before donating. For more information or to make an appointment for any Red Cross blood drive, please call 1 (800) GIVE-LIFE (800-448-3543). Having an appointment is not mandatory, but will ensure the quickest possible process. Walk-in donors are also welcome.

Six-week health workshop

PEPPERELL — The Pepperell Senior Center will host a six-week program developed by Stanford University that will teach attendees how to better manage their illnesses, develop an exercise program, deal with frustration, manage symptoms and work with health care providers. The program begins on Jan. 23 at 1:30 p.m. and will consist of group discussion and participation. The course if free of charge, but those interested should sign-up at the center prior to the beginning of class. For more information, call (978) 433-0326.

La Leche League meeting

LEOMINSTER — La Leche League of north Central Mass. will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 11, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake, 1400 Main St., Leominster. The meeting topic will be “The Advantage of Breast-feeding.” Mothers with their nursing babies and mothers-to-be are welcome. Debtors Anonymous meeting

GROTON — Debtors Anonymous will host a meeting on Wednesdays, starting Jan. 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at First Parish Unitarian Church, Groton (corner of Route 119 and Route 140).
