AYER — It took several continuations of a public hearing to get all the parties together, but the Board of Selectmen (BOS) met with Mrs. Mun Hee Park of the Chung Gee Korean market Tuesday, and granted her establishment a license to sell beer and wine.

The applicant was represented by attorney Robert Casey, who said the license was being sought to provide more complete shopping options for customers.

Park’s Korean market is located at the Devens Plaza on West Main Street.

The board asked several questions about Park’s status as owner of two businesses and about steps she would take to prevent underage customers from obtaining alcohol before granting the application.

The hearing was opened on Nov. 15 and was continued twice since then before being convened on Tuesday.
