St. David’s

TOWNSEND — Due to the recent fire, St. David’s Episcopal Church of Pepperell is holding services at the Townsend Congregational Church located in Townsend Center. Sunday worship begins at 11:30 a.m. Rite I and Rite ll are used on alternating Sundays. For more information, call (978) 433-8631.

SHIRLEY — The United Church of Shirley will have a Family Christmas Eve service with a live nativity scene at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24. On the

same night, they will host an 11 p.m. candlelight service of lessons and carols followed by mulled cider and sweets.

PEPPERELL — The Pepperell Community Church will be celebrating its Christmas service on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. All are welcome to share in this family service of lessons and carols with candlelight. LITTLETON — The Congregational Church of Littleton, 330 King St., presents their Christmas Eve service on Saturday, Dec. 24. There will be a Christmas pageant family service at 5 p.m. and traditional candlelight services at 7, 9 and 11 p.m. On Christmas day, there will be one service at 10:15 a.m.

GROTON — Union Congregational Church, 218 Main St., Groton, will hold a Christmas Eve family service on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m.; a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m.; and a Christmas day worship service on Dec. 25 at 10 a.m.

Chanukah party

WESTFORD — Temple Shir Hadash presents its 15th Annual Chanukah Party. This event for all ages will be on Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The event will take place at the First Parish Church, 48 Main St., Westford. Christmas day service

AYER — The New Hope Community Church will hold a Christmas service on Dec. 25 at 11 a.m. The church is located at 139 Sandy Pond Road, Ayer.

Shabbat Chanukah services

LOWELL — The Temple Emanuel of the Merrimack Valley, 101 West Forest St., Lowell, will host a Shabbat Chanukah service on Friday, Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m. The temple invites those in attendance to bring their menorahs. For more information, visit www.temv.org or call (978) 454-1372.

Youth group dinner/lock-in

LITTLETON — The Senior High Youth Group (SHYG) of the Congregational Church of Littleton, 330 King St., invites all their alumni as well as other interested senior high school students to their annual dinner and lock-in during Christmas vacation.
