TOWNSEND — In the final Board of Selectmen’s (BOS) meeting of the year, members approved restaurant and club liquor licenses, package store all alcohol and wine and malt licenses, as well as common victualler licenses for 2006.

Restaurant all liquor licenses, contingent upon a valid certificate of inspection by the building commissioner and signed off by fire chief include Mike Far Liang for the Gourmet House, Frederick Daley III for the Townsend Ridge Country Club, Robert Dickhaut for the Townsend House Restaurant and Check Siel Yu for Yee’s Village.

Club Veteran’s all alcoholic license was for Denise Blanchard for VFW Post # 6538.

Package store liquor licenses were approved for Kenneth Gionet for The Wine Nook and John J. Caten Jr. for the Townsend Package Store.

Common Victualler license renewals contingent upon receipt of all required documentation and payment for the licenses and to sign the renewal license out of session went to Ashfa Shafiq for Honeyland Farms, April Sutton for McDonald’s Corporation, Terrance McNabb for McNabb’s Pharmacy and Robert Carlo for the Main Street Cafe.

A class I license went to Thomas Cleary for Townsend Sales & Service Inc.

Class II licenses went to Joseph Z. Shank for the Harbor Auto Body, William & Jamie Baro for Baro Enterprises Inc., Roy D. Shepherd for Shepherd Sales & Service and Richard Koivu for Country Auto Sales & Service.

Class III licenses went to Roy D. Shepherd for Joe’s Auto Body and Carl Cerullo for MJS Metals.

Class II licenses for the following establishments were contingent upon receipt of all documentation and payment for the renewal licenses and sign out of session were approved for Bruce Nash for Bruce’s Auto Body and James Le’Cuyer for Rogers Auto Body.

General Entertainment licenses were approved for Robert Dickhaut for The Townsend House, Check Siel Yu for Yee’s Village, Frederick Daley III for the Townsend Ridge Country Club, Mike Far Liang for The Gourmet House and Denise Blanchard for VFW Post # 6538.

Sunday Entertainment licenses were approved for Denise Blanchard for VFW Post # 6538 and Frederick Daley for the Townsend Ridge Country Club.
