GROTON — The Groton Dunstable Alliance for Youth’s (GDAY) Parent to Parent Network is hosting the first in a series of parent socials on Friday, Jan. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Groton Dunstable Middle School North library.

The socials are scheduled to coincide with seventh- and eighth-grade dances, but are open to all parents in our communities.

The purpose of the social is to give parents the opportunity to discuss their interests and challenges, and meet other parents in our area. The socials do not have a formal agenda, but will be used as a catalyst for networking among parents.

The Parent to Parent Network is a new initiative from GDAY. The purpose is to provide parents with multiple avenues to connect and talk about the wonderful joys and challenges of raising children. The parent social is one way for all of us to come together.

For information call GDAY Coordinator Judy Robinson at (978) 448-6362, ext. 1132 or e-mail jrobinson@gdrsd.org.
