Crusaders Boys Basketball Jamboree
The Crusaders Boys Basketball Jamboree will be held at Groton Dunstable Regional High School on Friday, Dec. 9. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. The schedule will be: 4:30 – Murdock vs. Ayer; 5:15 – Tyngsboro vs. Lunenburg; 6:00 – Westford vs. Maynard; 6:45 Chelmsford vs. St. Bernard’s; 7:30 – Lowell vs. Groton Dunstable.
Blaze hosting 2006 spring
tryouts
The North Central Blaze AAU girls basketball club will be hosting tryouts for the spring 2006 season on Sunday Jan. 15 and Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006 at the Fitchburg State College Athletic & Recreation Center. Roster opening exist and teams are being formed at every age level (10U through 16U). Players born in 1988-89, 1994 and 1995 or later will try out from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Players born in 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 will try out from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
All female athletes from all communities in Central and Eastern Massachusetts are welcome to participate in the tryouts. Visit the website at www.northcentralblaze.com to pre-register for the tryouts. The tryout fee is $25 for pre-registered candidates, $30 if you register at the door on the day of the tryouts. Pepperell Youth Soccer spring 2006 registration
Registration is now open for the Pepperell Youth Soccer spring 2006 season. The travel registration deadline is Dec. 10. Register on-line now at www.pysl.org. All on-line registrations must be done with credit card payment. If you are unable to register on-line, you must come to the Sis McGrath Community Center on either Friday, Dec. 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. or on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
TAYSA annual meeting
The Townsend Ashby Youth Soccer Association annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the North Middlesex Regional High School. The Executive Board welcomes and encourages all parents/guardians of, both in-town and travel, participating soccer players to attend this annual meeting. Along with reviewing this past year’s activities, some potentially exciting news will be discussed at the meeting, as well as electing new officers.
