TOWNSEND — The Townsend Habitat for Humanity Project Committee will host a Texas Hold’em tournament on Friday, Oct. 14, from 7 p.m. to midnight, at the Townsend VFW.
This tournament will be the first fund-raising event for the Townsend Habitat Project.
Entree fee is $100. Must be 21 years old to play, and tickets must be purchased in advance. First place winnings is $2,500; second place, $500; and third through seventh, $125.
There will also be a barbecue, starting at 6 p.m. and running through the evening.
This kick-off event will prove to be fun and exciting! Please join your friends and neighbors in support of Habitat for Humanity.
