The Pepperell VFW Post 3291 Ladies Auxiliary wishes to thank those who attended the POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony held Sept. 16 at the Community Church.
In October, we are holding a drive for T-shirts, toothpaste, tooth brushes and soap to be given to veterans. Please drop off your donations at the VFW Post Home on Leighton Street (off Tarbell Street/Route 113) in Pepperell.
We are looking for new members for the auxiliary. Come and join us to work for your veterans. We would also like to see more of the current members attend meetings. They are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:45 p.m.
The Ladies Auxiliary will hold a bean dinner at the Post Home on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost for supper is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 3 to 6. Tickets can be purchased from Kathy Harris (978) 433-2321 or Ethel Morrill at (978) 433-2282.
