TOWNSEND –The inaugural Gregory E. Reeves Memorial Scholarship Run will take place Saturday, Oct. 8.
The race will being at 10 a.m. on the Townsend Common. Pre-registration begins at 9 a.m. Registration fee is $18.
This is a 4.6 mile run through Townsend. Runners will be professionally timed and prizes awarded. Participants may choose to walk or run the course. More than 260 participants have already registered.
There will be music, a chicken barbecue, hotdogs and hamburgers on the common after the race. Meal provided free of charge to all registered participants.
