SHIRLEY — Shirley’s Fall Foliage Walk for 2005, “Journey to Paradise,” will start out from Farandnear, 156 Center Road, at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 8.
As is customary, walkers will be able to choose between a short walk (less than an hour) and a long walk (two to three hours), and everyone will get together at the end for refreshments and conversation.
In case of significant rain the walk will be canceled and rescheduled for the next non-rainy Sunday or Saturday at the same time.
The Fall Foliage Walk is sponsored by the Conservation Commission and the Greenway Committee, which invite you to consider joining either or both of their boards.
