TOWNSEND — Area craftspeople are invited to participate in the Townsend VFW Post 6538 Ladies Auxiliary Craft Fair.
The fair will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the VFW Function Hall, 491 Main Street, West Townsend.
The auxiliary feels that by opening its fair to local craftspeople, it can serve the community in two ways: provide local craftspeople with a place to display and sell their handiwork; and give local residents the opportunity to see and purchase a variety of locally made crafts prior to the holiday season.
The auxiliary hopes to be joined by a variety of craftspeople at the fair. Woodcarvers, jewelry makers, knitters, crocheters, toy makers, potters, painters and those who make holiday decorations and wreaths will be among the people who will participate.
Space must be reserved in advance. Table space will be available for $15 each on a first-come, first-served basis. It is recommended that interested craftspeople reserve a space immediately.
To reserve a space, call Carol Beauchamp at (978) 597-6425 or Avis Roy at (978) 597-6829.
