A nomination for Hawthorne Brook Middle School has been submitted for funding up to a $50,000 award from Power A Bright Future - Clorox Grant program to upgrade the auditorium. BUT we need everyone's help!!!! The nomination with the highest number of votes will receive the $50,000 grand-prize and the top vote getters in each category, Play, Create and Explore will receive $25,000.

This grant would allow us to repair and upgrade the sound, lighting, connectivity and technology in our auditorium to enhance learning for our students in all areas of our fine arts program during and after school. In addition it would provide a 21st century learning environment for all content areas in the school, a space for the community to gather to experience the Arts, Girls and Boy Scouts, Destination Imagination(a creative problem solving organization for youth and adults), and long distance learning.

We need to have everyone (13 or older) to register and vote once a day until Dec. 19, 2012.

Once you are set up it is a piece of cake to vote each day. You can vote online, through text or facebook.
