All towns are welcome to a Bicycle Recycle Day on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at Saint Johns, 1 School St., Townsend.

Any bicycle is a good bicycle. Reclaim and reuse.

We will take racing, mountain, BMX, cruiser, kids, old/new. Our aim is to keep bicycles from being destroyed when they can be reused. Too many bicycles get thrown away or end up at the transfer station in the scrap metal pile.

There is no cost. Your old or new unwanted bicycle will get a new home with a portion of proceeds from sale of bicycles to go to the church.
