The Energy Guy

All Ages!

The environment is an interesting and yet simple well balanced machine containing all of the freely available resources required to keep our Earth operating smoothly while maintaining near perfect balance.

Man has been a part of this balance for 10's of thousands of years but only in the past 150 years have we put into ultra-high-gear processes that disregard the true value of Earth's freely available resources and instantly began shifting the delicate balance and significantly threatening the environment to the point of humans needing to react to dramatic environmental change.

At this discussion Frank Urro of TippingPointGreen will engage the audience (kids and adults) in a discussion about the basics of where our energy comes from, why it's there in the first place, the extraction impact, processing impact, and finally the consumption impact.

Is there a better a way? Are their better choices? What are the myths that need to be abolished?

Learn how you can greatly reduce your carbon/toxic foot print, and likely your household expenses, with some simple changes in purchasing and consumption habits.

When: 7 p.m., April 15
