NASHUA -- Connor Donahue, a resident of Groton, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 Lacrosse at the University of Denver.
Donahue is currently a senior at Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH.
Donahue is captain of both the Bishop Guertin varsity hockey and lacrosse teams.
Donahue has helped lead the lacrosse team to three consecutive Division-1 State Championships and will defend their title again this spring. Donahue was named to the Division-1 First-Team All-State for both hockey and lacrosse.
The Bishop Guertin senior also received US Lacrosse All-American accolades during his junior season. Donahue had the opportunity to travel to Africa this past summer, with other students from Bishop Guertin, on a mission trip to the St. Francis High School in Malole, Zambia. While there, he also introduced the game of lacrosse to local children.
Connor is the son of Sheila and Dick Donahue, of Groton.
