During the winter, you're often faced with the problem of football getting in the way of spiritual enlightenment. Or maybe it's the other way around.
Tim Christensen, a Montana pastor, faced this dilemma Sunday. To make matters worse, it was a playoff game on the East Coast that was set to kick off at 11 a.m. local time — right when Christensen was supposed to be leading his late worship service. Christensen's solution was a simple one, and one that was in the mind of many church-goers: Let's get this over with quickly!
Apparently, He must have understood, as the 49ers beat the Carolina Panthers 23-10.
