HOLDERNESS, N.H. - Andy Zinck has verbally committed to play lacrosse at Holy Cross next year. At Holy Cross, Zinck will play under the tutelage of Jim Morrissey who, last year, led the Crusaders to a 5-10 overall record.
Zinck is a midfielder from Groton. "He came to Holderness Private School as a sophomore and has played multiple sports for us, including football, basketball, and lacrosse," says Holderness athletic director Lance Galvin. "He is a multi-sport player who works hard on the field and in the classroom. Andy's play on both the offensive and defensive sides of the field attracted many college looks. He picked Holy Cross for many reasons, one being his strong connection with Coach Morrissey and the Holy Cross athletes."
Galvin adds that Zinck is not just a promising lacrosse player. "Andy is a solid academic student and a wonderful person as well," he said. "We have been fortunate to have such a high-caliber student-athlete play for us, and we wish him great success at the next level with the Crusaders."
