In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association has rescheduled the state golf tournaments to be played at later dates. Groton-Dunstable was scheduled to compete in the Division-2 State Tournament at Gannon Municipal Country Club in Lynn,Mass., today. The Crusaders placed second in last week's Central Mass., qualifier to punch their ticket to the state tournamnet for just the second time in school history.

Hurricane Sandy has forced that tee time to be pushed back until Nov. 5, at 9:30 a.m. The Div. 3 State Championship Tournament hosted in Devens, Mass. at the Redtail Golf Club, has been rescheduled for Oct. 31 at 9:30 a.m. The Bromfield Trojans will participate in the Div. 3 state tournament, after capturing the district title this past week.

Both Div. 2 and Div. 3 state tournaments will feature a shotgun start, meaning all golfers will start at the same hole and finish at the same time.
