PEPPERELL -- The Hannaford supermarket in Townsend has been a longtime supporter of the Pepperell PACH food pantry, providing meat, bread and deserts twice a week.

In the first half of 2018, the store donated 9,173 pounds of food worth $15,870. It is support of local businesses like this that makes the work that PACH does so successful.

Please take a moment and thank them the next time you are in the store.

PACH (Pepperell Aid from Community to Home) Outreach help is available to all Pepperell residents in need, including seniors, families, and single adults, whether unemployed or under-employed.

Because the need for food and other services is so great, PACH has grown out of the space at the Peter Fitzpatrick School.

Because of the pending closure of the current building that houses the pantry, PACH's Board of Directors has purchased a former doctor's office building at 66 Hollis St. in Pepperell and is in the process of renovating it to meet the unique needs of a food pantry.

A capital campaign in under way to raise funds to support this activity. Donations of any amount can be sent to PACH Outreach, P.O. Box 1247, Pepperell 01463, or call 978-925-9770.
