TOWNSEND -- Four finalists will interview for North Middlesex Regional School District superintendent, starting Monday.

Interviews will start at 6 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at North Middlesex Regional High School. Each interview is expected to last an hour and a half.

The interview schedule is as follows:

* Monday, 6 p.m., Kathleen Burnham, special education director at North Andover Public Schools;

* Monday, 7:45 p.m., Heather Wilmont, superintendent of schools of the Wicassett School Department in Maine;

* Tuesday, 6 p.m., Brad Morgan, principal of Essex Technical High School in Danvers;

* Tuesday, 7:45 p.m., Marie Altieri, deputy superintendent of the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District.

Residents may meet the finalists at the high school, starting at 4:30 p.m. each day.

The committee hopes to make an offer to one of the candidates before spring break, said Randee Rusch, chair of the School Committee.

Superintendent Joan Landers said in October she would not seek reappointment. She has served as head of the district since 2012.
