WESTFORD -- Nashoba Valley Technical High School will send a student to the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference, June 19-23, in Louisville, Ky.
Larissa Tervail, a junior from Pepperell, will make the trip to Nationals by virtue of her first-place finish in the Advertising Design competition at the recent SkillsUSA State Competition, held at Blackstone Valley Technical High School. Larissa is in the Design & Visual Communications program at Nashoba Tech.
In all, 23 Nashoba Tech students competed in the States, either individually or as part of a team. Corey Martineau, a senior from Townsend, placed third in Culinary Arts, and the team of Jason Gendron (sophomore, Dracut), Anthony Repoza (sophomore, Chelmsford) and Robert Stansfield (sophomore, Chelmsford) placed second in the Career Pathways: Industrial & Engineering Technology category.
