CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- On Aug. 10, at approximately 7:30 p.m., troopers from Troop D in Concord received a report of a 2007 Ford Edge traveling southbound on Route 89. The vehicle was described as being driven in an erratic manner.
Troopers located the vehicle on Clinton Street in Concord and after observing additional erratic operation conducted a traffic stop. Trooper Malilay, after conducting an investigation, determined the driver, Paul Jopling, 62, of Pepperell, Massachusetts, was impaired.
Trooper Malilay arrested Jopling and transported him to the Troop D barracks where he was processed and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail.
Jopling is scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 26 in the Concord District Court. He has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
