PEPPERELL -- Santa brings his elves and tools to the Prescott Grange in Pepperell again this year. With the usual high demand for fun and beautiful wooden toys, holiday decorations and jewelry, the Claus crew, along with parents, will be helping children assemble and paint their choices of cars, planes, tree decorations, candle holders and many other crafts.
This is Santa's fourth workshop day at the Grange. Every year brings new toy designs and classic decorations. Many families return annually and Santa is always hoping for new toy builders to join his team.
He's been delighted with the skill and enthusiasm of the children and the elves have never been happier or busier helping with instructions, creative design adjustments, teaching proper tool use, clean ups, giggling, smiling and cookie-eating.
The Prescott Grange is located at 12 Park St. in Pepperell. The workshop, asking $5 per child to cover hay for the reindeer, starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, ending at 5 p.m. with a tree-lighting at dusk.
