PEPPERELL -- Grilled cheese and a crunchy home made pickle brightens up my day on a snowy winter noon time. A cookie, and out I go again, to do my chores and face the weather. Pickle fans and veteran picklers are invited to the Prescott Grange on Park Street in Pepperell this coming Sunday afternoon, Oct. 14, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Pickle Making 101 instruction is offered free of charge by the local pickler, Maryellen Webb, of Townsend, cucumbers, green beans, and beets will be available for purchase along with jars and labels.

If you'd like to share a recipe please bring a written copy and we'll post it on the Prescott Grange Facebook page. Bring some of your own homemade pickles and we'll offer them along with our grilled cheese sandwiches.
