The Sister Lydia Longley Madeleine Knights of Columbus Council held their annual Tootsie Roll drive to benefit Mass children with intellectual disabilities in October. Because of your generosity, we were able to contribute over $900 to the Massachusetts State KofC Charity fund. One hundred percent of the local funds collected are added to this fund.

Last year, the Massachusetts State Council Knights of Columbus donated a $100,000 grant to assist the Seven Hills Foundation's in renovating their Hopedale location. Seven Hills is a non-profit organization providing health and human services to children and adults with significant physical and mental handicaps. They have multiple locations across New England including one right here in Groton.

The Knights would like to extend their gratitude to Paul Palmer and his staff at the Groton Exchange as well as Donelan's in Pepperell. Paul and his awesome staff have generously allowed us to collect at the Groton Exchange. Without the generosity of these local businesses, our efforts would have been greatly minimized. Thank you.

The Massachusetts State Council Knights of Columbus Charity Fund has been established to assist persons with intellectual disabilities, regardless of age, and children with physical handicaps who have not reached their 20th birthday. There is no restriction as to race, creed, sex or national origin. If anyone knows of someone who could benefit from the Charity Fund please contact me at
