The Harvard Schools Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to thank the following local businesses for their support as business partners for the 2013-14 school year.

The contributions and services-in-kind donations made by these businesses total close to $5,000 and help enable the PTO to provide curriculum enrichment programs, scholastic programs and assistance with strategic expenditures for both the Hildreth Elementary and Bromfield schools.

We would encourage HES and Bromfield families to consider these businesses for any related needs:

We also want to acknowledge the support the Harvard PTO and Harvard schools has received from local agencies and community organizations who contribute funding, time and resources that support and bring a robust array of programs and materials to enrich the experience of our students.

The Harvard Cultural Council (HCC) has provided long-standing support of curriculum enrichment programs at Hildreth Elementary School (HES) through its grant program. The HCC is a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC), a state agency. In addition, the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) awarded HES a STARS Residency grant to help fund Houses in Literature, a project with the organization Learning By Design that will be delivered this year at HES.

We appreciated community organizations in the Harvard area for their continued and generous support of our schools and children: Harvard Lions Club, Harvard Schools Trust, Roche Brothers Supermarkets-Acton, and Superstar Productions.

"We are fortunate in the Harvard community to have the collaboration of parents, teachers and the community working together to provide our children with the best learning environment. We are very thankful and appreciative of our local businesses for their support," explained Nancy Lancellotti, Harvard PTO co-president.

The Harvard public school system educates approximately 1,200 students from Harvard, Devens and school-choice towns. Our business partners and community organizations are important to us and much appreciated.

Again, we thank them for their support.

New PTO business partners are welcome throughout the school year. For information visit
