Steve Rowse has recently resigned from the Community Preservation Committee and I would like to thank him for his many years of service. He has been a great resource to the committee for many years, with his dedication and in-depth knowledge of the process and legislation.

Although replacing his knowledge and dedication will be difficult, we now need an additional member on the committee. I would like to urge Harvard residents to consider applying to fill the open slot. The replacement for Steve will be appointed jointly by the Community Preservation Committee and the Board of Selectmen and will serve until the town election next spring. We generally meet the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Please check out the committee page on the town website or call a member to find out more.
