GROTON -- Back by popular demand, the Christian Union Church of West Groton will have its roast-beef dinner April 21.

Serving is set for two hours beginning at 4:30 p.m. The church is located at 37 West Main St. (Route 225). Menu will consist of roast beef from Blood Farm, mashed potato, gravy, vegetable, and dessert. Take outs are available. Supper is continuous serving and no reservations required. Dinner is $12, $6 for ages 6-12 and under 6 is free.

'Jekyll & Hyde' at TMHS theatre

TEWKSBURY -- The Tewksbury Memorial High School Theater Company is presenting the musical "Jekyll & Hyde" from April 26-28 at the Dr. Christine L. McGrath Performing Arts Center. The show begins at 7 p.m. on April 26 and 27. There is a 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. showing on April 28.

The musical is based on the Robert Louis Stevenson novel set in 19th-century London that tells the story of a doctor who separates the good and evil of men.

The show is rated PG-13. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors.

Flutists perform in Westford

WESTFORD -- A group of flutists will perform a free concert at the Parish Center for the Arts in Westford this weekend. Harmonie Transverse, formed in 2002 by flutists who performed with the New England Conservatory's Metropolitan Flute Orchestra, will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 15.

Music will be a mix of classical and "fun to listen to" options, including use of a wide range of flutes.

The event is free and open to the public.

Housing, fuel assistance available

SHIRLEY -- The town of Shirley has funding available for the Housing Rehab and Fuel Assistance Programs.

The town is participating in a Community Development Block Grant funded by the state Department of Housing and Community Development. The grant provides assistance to income-eligible homeowners who need assistance making critical repairs to their home or for supplementary oil or propane fuel assistance.

The Montachusett Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) is working with the town to administer this program. If you are a homeowner in Shirley you may call MRPC at 978-345-7376, ext. 305 or 308, for more information, such as income guidelines and to apply. If you rent your apartment and are responsible for your own heating bills, you may also apply for the fuel-assistance program.

Comic/juggler performs in Dracut

DRACUT -- Comedian juggler Bryson Lang will be at the Dracut Council on Aging at 11 a.m. on April 17. Seniors and their extended family are welcome. Tickets are $5 for children ages 10 and older, and for adults. Tickets are $2 for children ages 3-9.

The senior center is located at 951 Mammoth Road, Dracut.
