PEPPERELL -- Got Food? Some residents in Pepperell may be in need of it.
PACH Outreach Drive-Thru Food Drive will take place on Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon at the PACH Outreach Office and Pantry at 45 Main St. in Pepperell. Volunteers will give you a big smile and unload donations while you wait.
PACH is most in need of toilet paper, paper towels, canned fruit, juice, canned stews, pasta sauce, snacks, peanut butter and jelly, pasta, and any boxed items. Personal care items such as shampoo, soap, cleaning products, and child care items are always in need.
For those who are unable to make the food drive, donations can be brought to the local post office, Donelan's, or Main Street Bank during business hours.
PACH provides Pepperell residents in need with a caring, compassionate resource to meet their basic needs, including food, personal care items, and referrals to resources for additional assistance. If you are in need or know someone who is, contact PACH at firstname.lastname@example.org or PACH Outreach, P.O. Box 1247, Pepperell, MA 01463
Their phone number is 978-925-9770. PACH is staffed by volunteers who will return calls when the office is open. Office hours are Tuesday 5 to 7 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
There are several positions available for volunteers. Food pantry helpers, drivers and manpower are needed on the second Tuesday of the month, four to eight times per year, for delivery of Greater Boston Food Bank order from Ayer to Pepperell.
